The Blair Robot Project (FRC Team 449) is a nationally competitive, student-led FIRST Robotics Competition team based at Montgomery Blair High School in Silver Spring, Maryland. We are dedicated to STEM education, inclusivity, and outreach.
Sponsors make this possible. We appreciate the many ways our sponsors back us: monetary gifts, in-kind donations, services, technical expertise, and mentorship. Scroll down to see standard sponsorship packages — or reach out about building a custom partnership that meets your goals.

Robotics here is real engineering under pressure. Students design, build, program, and field complex machines on hard deadlines. That rigor shows up in competition: Team 449 has won back-to-back FIRST Chesapeake District Champions, and is one of just five FRC teams ever to do so with an undefeated run.
Those skills carry forward: 100% of recent Team 449 graduates went on to higher education, with 92% of them pursuing STEM fields. And they ripple out. Over the past three years, our students have given 2,100+ volunteer hours at 32 community events. We reached thousands of K–12 students across Montgomery County, including by running STEM Fairs at Title I elementary schools to bring hands-on robotics to kids who might never otherwise see it.
We stay open to everyone: no dues, no roster caps, no experience required, with travel and event costs waived for members who need it. Your sponsorship develops tomorrow's engineers and widens the door behind them.

Support from our sponsors provides robot parts, tools, electronics, fabrication materials, software, competition registration, and travel. Just as importantly, it funds our outreach: the events we host, the younger teams we mentor, and the materials we put into students' hands at Title I schools.
Your name and logo will travel with one of the region's most visible robotics programs. We can display it on our robot and team apparel at multi-day district competitions, on our Bunnybots livestream, and across the schools and community events we reach throughout the year.
